Vixie’s parents were rescued from a fur farm in West Virginia that had been shut down. The man who rescued the foxes was not licensed to breed them, but kept males and females together without spaying or neutering them. As a result, the foxes had a litter of kits, and he was unable to keep them. Since the foxes were born in human care, they were non-releasable. After being rejected by her mother, Vixie was transferred to Raptor Hallow when she was just six days old, a year after her half-brother, Todd. Vixie has grown into a playful and spirited ambassador for her species, winning hearts with her boundless energy.
