Get Involved

At Raptor Hallow Sanctuary, our dedicated volunteers are the backbone of our mission, playing a vital role in the care and conservation of our resident birds of prey. By closely collaborating with out animal husbandry staff, our volunteers contribute their expertise and passion of wildlife to Raptor Hallow's dynamic team. Moreover, they inspire the future stewards of our planet through our dynamic environmental education programs. Our diverse volunteer community includes retired educators, veterans, and nature enthusiasts, all sharing their unique skills and knowledge.

Additionally, we proudly offer a Volun-Teen program, welcoming individuals aged 16 and older to join us in our commitment to wildlife preservation and education.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Docent Volunteer: 8+ volunteer hours per month

  • Husbandry Volunteer: 12+ volunteer hours per month - divided between 2 or more shifts

  • All volunteers are required to attend mandatry month workshops
